Our Background
Welcome to the IDEAS Hub website. IDEAS hub is an educational programme, aimed at Primary and Post-Primary school teachers, and students, aged between 5-17 years. IDEAS hub informs teachers and educates students on idea generation for enhancing creativity and innovation.
The IDEAS Hub was a concept originally developed in the University of Limerick, and funded by the Irish Research Council. In addition, the IDEAS Hub aims to collaborate with numerous Education Centres in Ireland. The IDEAS Hub team created lesson plans, activity sheets, classroom resources, based on supporting idea generation.
Our Goal
The goal of this website is to support students and teachers with idea generation, which is a stressful and difficult part of the design process.
From this website teachers can download free resources (lesson plans, presentations, activities, and posters) that will support developing their students ability to generate creative ideas.
The goal of the SHARE YOUR IDEAS page on the website is to provide students and teachers with a place where they can share ideas and receive feedback. This is a collaborative space where ideas can grow and transform.
