Problem Statement

Hydrodynamics

Design ways to improve how people find, transport, use, or dispose of water.

THE QUERY

I want to do an experiment with my science classmates to show them it is possible to drink salt water by desalination.

I plan to boil (in a pot) the salt water and allow the evaporated (gathered on the flipped lid) water to drip into a glass inside. In theory the water in the glass should be fresh.

Can anyone think of a way of fastening or fixing the glass to the bottom of the pot! Badly stuck!!! Thanks
